Due to his maxillofacial morphology (brachycephalic and prognathic), the Boxer dog’s incisor teeth cannot act as pliers, so he has difficulty in picking up food.

The kibble shape and size help prehension. Its texture makes crunching easier and, due to its mechanical action combined with sodium polyphosphate, reduces dental plaque and tartar formation.
